- Read and understand the course policies as outlined in the syllabus
- Explore the course website for week to week schedule, practice vocabulary and grammar in quizlet, and test out your daily funwork.
- Explore resources available online for Latin and mythology
- Learn the rules for pronunciation and practice reading Latin aloud
- Learn the lands around the Mediterranean Sea and the mythological story of Europa from Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
- Learn about Latin as an inflected language, word order, cases; interrogatives
- Learn about verbs; Genitive Case; nouns in -us; in + Acc.; historical present
